Wi fi did not work. Cable went out second night. Upon check in had to get desk clerk to change the bed due to soiled covers. Wanted to charge extra for adjoining rooms with a door. We're told we had specific rooms, upon arrival had to change. We've stayed here so many times during the last 18 months. I couldn't believe the terrible experience we had. All I got from the mgr was how sorry they were

Obviously a lack of communication amongst staff. We were going to the water park that opens at 1. So this place would be the obvious place to stay, right? NO! We got there about 10pm asked about a late checkout. Was told it wouldn't be a problem. The next morning there was no late checkout since they already had someone with a late booking for our room. The place looked like it MIGHT have had 5 cars in the parking lot the previous night. So, wonder why they would be that booked on a Sunday night? So instead of letting a 5 year old nap before playing all afternoon we are looking for something to do. Until 1. Wasn't going to complain about it but the hotel overcharged me for the room. Complete disappointment.
Overall a great experience we we're passing through Mississippi on our way back to Texas couldn't drive any longer, Google closest motel near me, (was skeptical I'm a planner) was easy to find, GPS gave great direction. We arrived after after 5am, the gentleman was preparing Continental breakfast but promptly assisted us in checking in quickly as he could. The rooms were very clean and neat, quiet motel. Granted been we're only they're until 11am checkout time to sleep, was overall good experience. Beds a tad hard, but still comfortable. Only reason 4 stars is because the whole motel had a strong cigarette smoke even in a non smoking room. But again I'm from Texas and almost all are non smoking motels/hotels. Area felt safe, for the price you can't go wrong.
The phone didn't work correctly.the room was otherwise clean. We didn't know what bright rise breakfast was. Would have preferred a hot breakfast. Loved the TV channels. The room had a dusty odor. The staff were nice.
